Well Test Interface
The BabelFish Well Test Interface provides an efficient way to manage well test schedule, calculates flowrates and analyse results via a web-based interface.
The BabelFish Well Test Interface provides a common interface that allows operators and engineers to capture, calculate, and analyse well test data in a consistent manner, independent of the underlying DCSs and/or data historians via a web based system. Most importantly, the Well Test Interface allows operators and engineers to select the stabilised period of the well test on which to perform calculations to determine the well’s 24 hour production rates; thus improving the accuracy of the test results. It also provides trending functionality to allow operators and engineers to better visualise the high frequency data captured when performing a test and analyse current results against historical results. The test results can be accessed from any SQL based reporting tools. Additionally the well test results can be automatically converted into different units of measurements such as metric and imperial, and exported to Microsoft® Excel format if required.

The Well Test Interface is fully integrated with BabelFish. The solution provides powerful trending functionality to allow operators and engineers to better visualise the well test data. Additionally, it automatically updates the well test data specific to the well, thus removing the need for operators to manually enter data related to the well test. Conversion and various factors such as shrinkage can also be automatically applied to the raw well test results.
