Operations Daily Reporting & Validation System (ODR)

ODR is a distributed application which collects data from a variety of production facilities, control systems, laboratory and manual sources and consolidates it in an industrial-strength database, before presenting it to operations for validation.

Too often production data is collected automatically and sent to the production allocation and reporting system without validation by the operators, the people who really understand the data. The ODR software will highlight if a process reading is outside its normal range and prompt the operator to either correct accept the value. This simple validation process saves hours of work in the head office. For example correction of a bad gas flow by the operator will save hours of searching in the head office when the months end gas balance will not reconcile.
