The gas nominations systems fully utilises the power of web technology to allow different types of gas companies and their customers to manage the day to day work processes required for production and transmission of natural gas to end-users.

Functions include: 

• Enter and maintain details of the pipeline and its configuration of inlets and outlets 
• Enter and maintain customer details 
• Enter and maintain contract information, which links customers entitlements to gas at selected inlets and outlets 
• Prepare and submit nominations and renominations, ranging from weekly to daily to hourly 
• Schedule operating facilities and control systems for gas production and transmission 
• Monitor production or transmission during the gas day and respond to renominations or unscheduled events which affect gas 
• Reconcile metered actuals against nominations and generate allocations, which are then sent to customers using web technology 
• Manage peaking and imbalances 
• Transfer gas allocations data to the financial system for preparing invoices
