A-PLUS – Asset and Production Loss Utilisation System

Downtime reporting alone can not be used as an adequate measure of production loss. Efficient equipment utilization and choke analysis are needed to fully explain and account for loss from asset groups and overall production.

A-PLUS provides a hierarchical structure in which equipment can be logically grouped. For example; the hierarchy could mirror your ERP Asset List.

A-PLUS can be used for serial, parallel, batch and continuous production processes.

Equipment utilization and downtime events are tracked and propagated through the hierarchy so operators can view Loss and Utilisation at any level within the asset hierarchy or drill-down to equipment to identify root cause.

Loss events are notified to the operator through the Loss Advisory window, from this they can analyse the problem and decide whether it should be classified as a production loss.
