Analysis Toolkit
Analysis Toolkit delivers the ability to create detailed exception reports from data sources connected to BabelFish.
Your investment in BabelFish already offers a web based reporting and presentation environment. Data from multiple sources is already organised in hierachies according to your business need. The Analysis Toolkit allows users to create scheduled reports that query the BabelFish Data Dictionary creating detailed analysis reports. For example, configure rules to produce a report showing all the underperforming instances of a certain type of asset each day.
The key features of Analysis Toolkit :
- Utilise your existing BabelFish Data Dictionary model to target key types of assets or locations for analysis.
- View analysis results in the supplied default report or use your favourite BabelFish widgets, e.g. the BabelFish; Trend, VML shape, Treemap, or table.
- Use the Scheduler to generate high-use reports automatically in order to focus operations, eg. feed material for the morning operations meeting.
- Derive data using the statistics engine. This allows simple aggregate functions such as Min, Max, Average, Sum, Std Dev, Median in the reports.
- The Analysis Toolkit allows reports to be dependent on one another. The analysis results from report A can be used as inputs to report B.
- Store and trend analysis results over time, e.g. downtime, consumption, or production metrics. Identify, otherwise hidden long term trends and act accordingly e.g. maintenance.
- Easily publish your key reports to the organisation allowing everyone to see a single ’version of the truth’.

The benefits of using the Analysis Toolkit as a reporting tool include:
- Scheduling of daily reports for distribution across the enterprise.
- Reports and rules can be created from data across disparate systems.
- Produce detailed, accurate reports where necessary, based on real time information.
- Generate adhoc reports simply and quickly on demand.
- Choose specific asset or equipment properties and attributes to generate dynamic reports
- Reports can be based on entities or template groups, and are able to be filtered based on conditions defined by the users.
The Analysis Toolkit provides in depth diagnostic reporting on assets mapped in BabelFish and is an extremely powerful tool for users who wish to make the most of their data.
