Web Based Geospatial Data Integration & Visualisation

BabelFish™ Aspect enables users to quickly find geospatial and non-geo-spatial information in an easy to access and easy to use web browser environment. The ability to store and overlay information from different systems greatly enhances knowledge management and retention within an organisation, resulting in improved analysis and decision making.

BabelFish™ Aspect does not create another Geographical Information System (GIS) layer in your organisation. Instead it provides a common platform from which data from any existing GIS system can be viewed and combined with other non-spatial datasources, such as real-time systems and document repositories.

For example; the user can decide what combination of map data, document and real-time data they wish to have displayed. BabelFish Aspect connects to the underlying data sources, combines the information, and displays it in a single web view.

BabelFish Aspect is unique in its capability to integrate data from a variety of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), for example ESRI™, with applications that have no geographic content. 

Within a web browser users can move freely between maps showing the location of mobile and non-mobile assets such as Wells, Mines, Equipment and Vehicles and view documents, reports and real-time data relating to those same assets.

Additionally, an infinitely extensible set of plug-in visualisations can be shown in place on a map with data sourced from both GIS and non-GIS systems. Data sources supported include:
