ISS was founded in Perth, Western Australia in 1995. The company initially developed custom applications to meet the needs of operational staff working in the Resources Sector.

Working closely with clients allowed ISS to identify a market niche – to provide web-based tools that enabled Operators to see a comprehensive real-time view of how the whole plant was operating, not just individual applications or processes. From this the company’s flagship product BabelFish™ was born.

Since 1995, ISS Group has become a recognised leader in providing enterprise-wide knowledge management technology to industry leaders in oil and gas, minerals processing, petrochemicals, power and utilities, food and beverage processing and manufacturing.

Publicly listed in 2004 (ASX:ISS), ISS has offices in Perth, Australia (HQ), Singapore, United Kindom and the United States of America. ISS also uses a network of preferred strategic partners and alliances such as Microsoft and Schlumberger.

This growth has been fuelled by our solid reputation in the Australian market for developing strong client partnerships and delivering quality software applications.
