ISS Releases BabelFish Sentinel
Sentinel takes advantage of the advanced connectivity capabilities of BabelFish to provide continuous monitoring of key operational parameters. Sentinel can simply alert the user or launch complex work flows.
The new ISS token based pricing model makes an entry level Sentinel a very cost efficient option.
An implementation received the following feedback from a senior BP Kwinana process engineer:
"...all this combined means the ROI is astronomical, because people are made instantly aware of any potential problems. In all honesty, I cannot believe every refinery / plant in the world does not use this system. It is absolutely brilliant.
